Do you have inquiries lingering in your mind? Perhaps your concerns are answered below. Below are some common questions our prospects and clients typically ask when considering home care services. If any of our answers do not satisfy your queries, please let us know by leaving an online message or calling us at 407-237-9742.
Who can receive home care?
We tailor our care solutions to support seniors and individuals with disabilities. To determine you or your loved one’s eligibility, our expert staff will conduct a complimentary in-home assessment and evaluate if receiving home care services would be an ideal option.
Do you provide home care for college students?
Yes. College support is part of our specialized care services. Our care providers are happy to help students with a disability maintain their independence while enjoying the full college experience.
Do you provide home care for someone who resides in an assisted living facility?
Yes. Our care solutions can help you or your loved one maintain their independence in their home of choice.
What is the hourly cost?
The hourly cost for our services differs on a case-to-case basis. For a detailed discussion about the potential cost of care, please get in touch with our staff.
How can I pay for home care?
Several payment options are available for you. We accept private pay, long-term insurance, workers’ compensation, and more. If you do not see your preferred payment method, please contact us.
Am I required to pay overtime for particular situations?
State and federal laws require us to pay for our care provider appropriately. We understand how a need for extended shifts may be inevitable at some points. Hence, you may need to pay overtime if that situation arises. However, we will strive to provide you with a proper schedule that won’t require an additional cost and notify you if extra charges apply.
Will the agency assign the same care professional each time I schedule care services?
Our primary goal is to provide you or your loved one a consistent delivery of care. We do our best to assign you with a care provider that can support you each time you request our services. When that care provider is not available, we will offer you a substitute care provider with similar skills and training.
How does your agency select its personal care providers?
Our care providers are all background screened and carefully chosen based on skill and availability.
What happens if my loved one experiences a health emergency that needs immediate concern?
All our care providers have a background in first aid and emergency response. When a health emergency happens, our professionals will promptly call 911 for immediate assistance.
Did your care professional undergo training for CPR and basic first aid?
Yes. All our personal care assistants are equipped with CPR and first aid knowledge.
How do I determine the care quality my loved one is receiving from the professionals?
Assume an active role in your loved one’s care experience. Establish a relationship with your loved one’s designated care provider and frequently visit your loved one so you can check your loved one’s care experience firsthand. If you notice anything that piques your concern, please report it to us immediately so we can assess the situation appropriately.
